Hackathon at Carnegie Mellon University: Business Applications @ The Speed of Thought with Joget

A hackathon entitled “Business Applications @ The Speed of Thought with Joget” will be held on 29-30 March 2019 at Carnegie Mellon University to challenge student teams to rapidly design and build business applications.

Hosted by the Tepper School of Business, students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a set of business problems that will require innovation, collaboration, communication and leadership, as they sharpen their research, strategy and analytical skills.

It will not just be a challenge, but also a valuable experience that students will go through to give them a preview of what organizations are facing in the business world. Students will have limited time to learn, design and develop solutions within a day.

In order to deliver fast for this hackathon, students will be leveraging the open source Joget no-code/low-code application platform. With a simple, visual approach to rapidly build applications, non-coders and business students without programming experience would be able to focus on solving the business cases.
