We managed to install the first pilot of our laboratory kit, in Port-Au-Prince Haïti, next to a hospital. It is run by one microbiologist and two technicians who, for the moment, are testing all the material, devices and procedures of the lab, including the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) based on Joget. This project aims at developing a transportable, all-in one, cost-effective laboratory for bloodstream infection analysis. The laboratory would be deployed in Low to Middle Income Countries (LMIC) in order to address the issue of Antibiotic Resistance (ABR), the World Health Organization (WHO) having identified this as a global health threat.
