Why Low-Code Platforms Instead of Traditional Software Development?
As stated in one of the key takeaways from the Forrester Now Tech Report, the volume of enterprise applications required for digitization has been increasing in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is important for the developed enterprise apps to adapt to the ever-changing business landscape and suit the wide range of business needs.
To digitize everything from A to Z using the traditional software development approach, businesses need to have a professional application development team with programming skills and knowledge to develop an enterprise app. Nevertheless, these are all beyond the speed and responsiveness with the use of code and that’s why, low-code platforms are here to address the mentioned challenges and empower one to move from ideation to reality.
Forrester defines general-purpose low-code development platforms as “Platforms for application development that employ visual, declarative techniques instead of programming to meet a wide variety of application and process automation use cases.” According to the report, low-code platforms are now vital to digital business and have been proven in even the most mission-critical use cases in the COVID-19 world.

ReplyDeleteBut one big challenges we have found it. If you want to add more action button on the form that is not possible to add it.
This is the limitation of Joget. I suggest to Joget team provide the option to add button on form same like text field, radio button.
Sometimes user have a query display the details on popup or extra features like follow-up they can enable easily instead of process.
Yes , now you can use the custom html and enable the extra buttons but the problem is you can't set the position and some developer doesn't know about the HTML tags and JavaScript's it's a problem.
If Joget team have provide the any options like this really appreciated to Joget Team. Kindly think about this features.
> If you want to add more action button on the form that is not possible to add it.
DeleteBy default, decision is made via one or more input fields, but some users may find it more affirmative to have decisions made via explicit different buttons in the form. Have a look at https://dev.joget.org/community/display/DX7/Process+Activity+Routing+Based+on+Buttons+Instead+of+Select+Box
You can also make use of "Process Enhancement Plugin" if you are using Joget DX 7. Have a look at https://marketplace.joget.org/jw/web/userview/mp/mpp/_/vad?id=process_enhancement-7.0-PREVIEW

Where it flows to essentially lies on the process flow itself. Providing such form element to decide where to flow to, is not part of its intended scope. Thus, we have the "Process Enhancement plugin" which is a form and process modifier plugin to play this role instead.
